Round Cut Settings

A round brilliant is cut with 57–58 facets to maximise brightness and fire, and it is the only diamond shape GIA assigns a cut grade, from Excellent to Poor. Cut is not the same as shape: cut is a stone’s proportions, symmetry and polish — that is what makes a round diamond return so much light.
