How long does it take to receive a DelaFuente piece?

Every DelaFuente piece is made to order and typically takes two to four weeks to craft, plus a few days of fully insured shipping. Each product page shows a live “Get it by” date, and select pieces offer an express make option that prioritizes your piece on the bench. Custom designs can take longer, since they are made to exist only once.

Is a lab-grown diamond a real diamond?

Yes — a lab-grown diamond is a real diamond: pure crystallized carbon with the same crystal structure as a mined one, not glass or an imitation. The only difference is origin — it grew in weeks in a lab that recreates the earth’s conditions instead of over billions of years underground. It is graded on the same 4Cs by the same independent labs, and it is the standard at DelaFuente; natural diamonds are available on request.

Do DelaFuente diamonds come with a certificate?

Yes — every diamond is delivered with its own IGI or GIA certificate, issued by an independent grading laboratory. The certificate documents the stone’s cut, color, clarity, and carat weight, so you know exactly what you are buying before it is set.

What is DelaFuente’s return policy?

Eligible pieces can be exchanged or returned for store credit within 30 days of delivery, unworn and with all packaging and certificates. Custom designs, engraved pieces, and earrings are final sale. If a piece arrives damaged or incorrect, DelaFuente repairs, replaces, or refunds it at no cost — just report it within 48 hours of delivery.

What happens if my ring doesn’t fit?

Every DelaFuente ring includes one complimentary resizing — within 30 days of delivery, extended to a full year for engagement rings. Before production you can request a free sizing kit, and every order ships with a ring sizer and temporary adjusters so you can confirm the fit at home. A ring that needs a small adjustment is normal, not a problem.

What does the lifetime warranty cover?

DelaFuente’s lifetime warranty covers manufacturing issues and the maintenance that keeps a piece wearable: stone tightening, prong maintenance, cleaning, inspection, and one complimentary resizing. It does not cover lost center stones, accidental damage, or work done by other jewelers. There is no claim process — you write, we look at the piece, and we take care of it.

Yes — DelaFuente ships worldwide, fully insured, with signature required on delivery. Shipping is complimentary on orders above $300 USD. Import duties and taxes, where they apply, are determined by your local authorities and are the recipient’s responsibility.

Is DelaFuente jewelry solid gold or plated?

Solid gold and platinum, never plated. Every piece is crafted in solid 14K or 18K gold or platinum, so the metal is the same all the way through — it can be resized, repaired, and worn daily for decades, which plated jewelry cannot.

Can I choose the exact diamond in my ring?

Yes — on DelaFuente engagement ring settings you can hand-pick the exact certified diamond for your ring, comparing real stones by shape, carat, and grade, each with its own IGI or GIA certificate. If you prefer guidance, you can book a free consultation and choose it together with the founder.

Can DelaFuente make a custom piece for me?

Yes — custom design is central to what DelaFuente does: you share the idea, and it is designed and made in-house in solid gold or platinum. You approve a 3D preview of the design before anything is crafted, so there are no surprises. Custom pieces are final sale, and timelines run somewhat longer than the standard two to four weeks.
