I loved the whole process of ordering my family ring — from working out how I pictured it, to seeing in the renders they made for me how they were building my dream. It was all so lovely. I was honestly nervous, because my ring has an unusual shape — but Danna understood the essence of what we needed and involved us the whole way through, from the brainstorming to understand the vision and the concept, down to the smallest details like the shape and placement of the diamonds on my band. I would tell her, so excited, how I pictured my band full of tiny diamonds wrapping around my S-shaped ring. They understood the idea perfectly, and brought to life the piece that now goes with me every day of my life.

14K gold is durable, warm and the classic choice for a band worn every day; platinum is naturally white, denser and heavier on the hand. Both are solid metal — never plated.
Metal guideChoosing a width
4 to 6 mm suits most men's hands; 2 to 3 mm reads finer and pairs well with a slim engagement ring, while 7 mm makes a stronger statement. Wider bands fit more snugly, so if you are between sizes, choose the larger one.
